The Koninklijke Bibliotheek is a treasure-house of books and manuscripts from many centuries. Hundred of its finest and most interesting objects were brought together in the book 'Hundred Highlights of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek' in 1994 (The book is sold out now). A year after that, the KB created the web exhibition of the same name, based on the book. It proved to be a big success. It remains one of the most visited exhibitions on the KB-website.

The '100 highlights' have been completely redesigned. No changes were made in the content of this exhibition. New highlights such as the Trivulzio manuscript and the Alba amicorum Van Harinxma thoe Slooten are missing from this exhibition, but they are of course available on the KB-website.
