'Ask a librarian' is the KB’s digital reference desk. You can ask questions about the KB or the use of (online) services.

A team of information specialists answers questions on a number of subjects. We specialize in Dutch language, history and culture, and -in a broader sense- the humanities. We help you by providing references to internet sources, specialist databases, books, articles or other institutions. Please note the following:
- Use our order forms if you want to order a publication
- We do not do your homework for you, nor do we write essays etcetera
- If we feel we are not competent or qualified to answer your question, for instance on medicine or law, we refer you to another library or institution
- For questions about computers or software please contact your helpdesk
- We do not answer questions for quizzes or competitions
