How to get to the Koninklijke Bibliotheek

The KB building is located between Central Station and the Utrechtse Baan in The Hague. On the map right you can see how to reach the KB by foot (red arrows) and by car (black arrows). Several building projects will take place in the vicinity of the KB within the next few years. This may have consequences for access routes to the library. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

By plane

  • Arriving at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol you can travel by train to The Hague Central Station.

By train

  • On platform 12 of the railway station (1) you will find signs telling you exactly how to walk to the main entrance (A) of the library.

By car

  • Arriving by car you will find a car park (P) in the vicinity of the railway station.

By bike

  • Bikes can be put away under the main entrance of the KB (5).
