Starting January 4th 2000 the Koninklijke Bibliotheek will stay open on tuesdays untill 20.00 hours. After one year this evening opening will be evaluated. The services will be complete with the exception of the Special Collections departement.
There will be no staff in the Union Catalogue on tuesday evenings nor on saturday mornings. Of course information from the catalogues will stay available through the information desks in the catalogue room on the first floor.
