The KB-catalogue is the new, integrated catalogue of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, in which you can search for various publications, available in the KB or on the internet. The KB-catalogue contains almost two million descriptions of books and periodicals, electronic articles, cd-roms, scholarly sources of information on the internet, Dutch websites, manuscripts and documentation about the special collections. The descriptions have been taken from various specific catalogues of the KB. The new catalogue enables you to search all of these information systems at once.
The KB-catalogue can be accessed through the search box on the homepage of the KB website. This search box returns on all the other pages of the KB website in the left upper corner. The KB-catalogue will be searched in its entirety by the word or words you type here. There is also the possibility of an 'advanced search', in which the query may be specified. It contains several search keys (any word, author, title, abstract and subject), and there is also the possibility to search for the year of publication and type of publication.
