In its Strategic Plan 2010-2013, the KB (Koninklijke Bibliotheek) focuses on the development of the digital library. We adopted this direction in previous years, but will now pursue it with vigour. However, the transition to a digital library made it necessary to review the organisational structure.
The new structure, containing four sectors, will be from 1st September 2010 onwards:
Irmgard Bomers, Marketing & Services
Matthijs van Otegem, Operations
Hans Jansen, Innovation & Development and Deputy-Director
Els van Eijck van Heslinga, Finance & Corporate Services (acting)
Together with Bas Savenije, Director-General they constitute the Management team of the KB.
