The collection
In 1992, the KB acquired a large collection of Scandinavian belles lettres and children's books in Dutch translation.
The collection contains more than 1,500 works from the 19th and 20th centuries. It serves as a supplement to the KB's collection of Scandinavian belles lettres from that period and documents interest in Scandinavia within the Netherlands. Worthy of note is the care given to the bookbinding, which is typical of the period.
