Museumnacht in the KB, National Library of the Netherlands
Saturday 10 October is the date of Museumnacht Den Haag. The KB is one of the participants. Between 19.00 and 00.00, we welcome you in for a unique behind-the-scenes look at the national library.
The KB is part of the cluster The Hague Central Station, along with the National Archive. We offer a selection of wonderful activities at a 3 minute walk from the central station.

Hidden Places Tour
Have you always been curious about the present and past of the KB? Then join one of our tour guides. They’ll take you through the KB’s reading rooms, tell you all about the library, and open doors for you that normally remain closed to visitors.
Music Bingo
An energetic bingo show hosted by an MC and a DJ who’ll have you singing along to the most delightful guilty pleasures and sing-alongs. What to expect: chaotic fun and entertainment where standing still is simply not an option!
Beer yoga
During Beer yoga you join us for a fun session featuring poses like the 'Downward Dancing Dog' and the 'Can Opener'. You'll receive a cold beer at the start of the class, and by the end, your beer will be gone and you'll be feeling flexible and refreshed.
Dutch shuffleboarding
Forget everything you know about Dutch shuffleboard. At Gesjoemel, you'll play your way through a course of quirky shuffleboards where teamwork, friendly competition, and a little bit of cheating go hand in hand. Play every board, because a surprise awaits!
Magic stories of healing plants
Ethnobotanist and illusionist Wouter Bijdendijk (Ramana) brings together magic and centuries-old botanical knowledge in an exclusive storytelling show during Museumnacht Den Haag. DJ Katayoun
Katayoun takes you on a musical journey through rare Iranian music. As an Iranian-Dutch DJ and sound archivist, she brings Iran’s rich musical history to life. Discover hidden gems from 1970s Iranian jazz-pop and psych-funk and hit the dance floor for a vibrant DJ set blending Iranian sounds with contemporary global club music.
