The Library Covenant won the corporate social responsibility award at the ASAP Alliance Excellence Awards ceremony in New York. The KB is one of the parties collaborating in the covenant.
Alliance Excellence Awards
The Alliance Excellence Awards are an initiative of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP). These awards celebrate strategic collaborations. The Library Covenant was nominated in the Corporate Social Responsibility category, which it has now won.
Network manager Erna Winters previously commented on the nomination: "It’s brilliant. What a terrific international recognition for our collaboration! And what a great opportunity to tell our story to the world. It would be fantastic if our network collaboration were rewarded in this way. Many thanks to all the partners who made this covenant possible. And a huge thank you to all the library professionals who work hard every day to make the covenant a reality for the people of the Netherlands."
Library Covenant
The Library Covenant is a collaboration between the government and the library sector to contribute to a Netherlands with a high level of literacy, in which life-long development is promoted and where everyone can participate online.
