The collection

In 1954, the Koninklijke Bibliotheek was given an important collection of books and journals from the estate of the publisher A.A.M. Stols as a gift of the Friends of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek. The gift concerned a collection of books by the writer E. Du Perron (1899-1940) plus several sets of journals for which Du Perron had written articles or served as occasional editor, such as Forum, Avontuur, and the special issues of De driehoek. Stols published a great deal of De Perron's work between 1925 and 1946. In 1948 Stols published a bibliography of Du Perron's work, a significant portion of which was based on Stols's own collection (now in the KB).
