Archiving materials is one of the core tasks of the KB. We don’t just want to do our work as well as we can, we also want to document everything properly. Especially when it comes to our digital repository.

Foekje Boersma is Head of the Collection Preservation Department. She specialises in sustainable collection management: taking care of the printed collections, while keeping a careful eye on energy and resources.
The e-Depot of the KB, the national library of the Netherlands, has been awarded the CoreTrustSeal for Trustworthy Data Repositories.
The KB, the National Library of the Netherlands, has signed a multiyear contract with library software maker Ex Libris for the use of their digital archiving system Rosetta.
