Lithographed paper

In the course of the nineteenth century, more and more machine produced decorated papers appeared beside handmade papers. The immense growth of the technical means of producing print is reflected in the many types of decorated papers in the KB's collection. Recognizing and determining the different types of papers is far more difficult than it is in handmade papers.

Some examples are shown here of lithographed papers. They were all designed by Georg Rueter.
