Highlights Exhibition

The National Library’s extensive collections span more than a millennium. Four times a year, the subject specialists select different highlights to create a unique exhibition offering a broad picture of Dutch history and culture. The Highlights Exhibition is free of charge

Monday through Friday: 10.00-17.00 hrs
Saturday: 12.00 - 17.00 hrs
Closed on Sundays.
The collection includes more than a hundred kilometres of medieval and modern manuscripts, old and contemporary books, newspapers, magazines, decorated papers and hand-crafted book bindings. There is always something new and surprising to see, e.g., literature, atlases, fashion magazines, children’s magazines and letters.
