39% of 15-year-olds in the Netherlands don’t achieve a basic level of reading proficiency. The KB and the Leescoalitie (‘Reading Coalition’) call on politicians to strengthen the culture of reading across society.
On 23 October, the KB will organise a workshop about textile, poetry and feminism. Participants will make a collective textile artwork with artist Ola Korbańska.
29 October marks the start of the exposition Books in the Age of AI. The opening will be celebrated with a festival full of workshops and interactive experiences.
