Loan conditions: information for professional organisations

The KB is happy to lend collection items for exhibitions. This is done under certain conditions:

• We are happy to cooperate with exhibitions that have an academic and/or cultural purpose. These exhibitions must be held in a museum, library or similar institution.
• That institution must have facilities to exhibit vulnerable or valuable pieces.
• If an exhibition travels around or lasts longer than 3 months, we look at the application with extra attention.

Unfortunately, we cannot approve all applications. Some objects are too fragile for the location of the exhibition.
