Due to necessary repair work, the heating system in the KB building will be switched off on Thursday 16 February and Friday 17 February. 

Because the heating system will be off during this time, the temperature will be lower than usual. Are you planning on going to the KB? Please wear warm clothes and note that coats are still not allowed inside. We do offer you a free cup of coffee or tea as compensation. 

If the temperature becomes too low, we will have to decide to close the building on Friday. Keep an eye on the website. During the course of Friday, the work will be completed and the heating system will be switched on again. Temperatures are expected to return to normal on Saturday.

Library members borrowed more audio books in 2022

Provisional figures from the Dutch online Library show that in 2022, library members borrowed considerably more audio books than in the previous year. The figures seem to show that young members also enjoy audio books: 35% of the audio books borrowed in 2022 were youth titles.
