The 'serious game' MedievalMe has won a Dutch Interactive Award The DIA is an award for the best Dutch interactive digital products.

The Dutch Interactive Award (DIA) is given annually to the best interactive digital products in 15 different categories. Winners can be nominated in categories such as Digital transformation, Best in design or Data. MedievalMe was nominated in the Content category and other nominees included the Rijksmuseum, the ANWB and the Jeugdjournaal.

MedievalMe brings heritage to life. The game is based on Der naturen bloeme (The Flower of Nature) series of books,one of the KB’s masterpieces. The classroom turns into an escape room and students work together in teams to escape. So they not only learn to work together but also about different types of science.
The University of Utrecht developed the game’s content. The Doyle digital design studio was responsible for the digital part.
